Born in 1952, Constantin Tofan is widely recognized as one of Romania's most accomplished contemporary painters. His formal training includes the Academy of Fine Arts from Iasi, Romania.
During the years Constantin Tofan paintings have been exhibited all over the world: 2001/2002 – Venice (Italy), 2002 - Mexico City (Mexico), 2002 - Budapesta (Hungary), 2002 - Viena (Austria), 2003 - Bergen/Fjel (Norway), 2004 - Magdeburg/Halle (Germany), 2013 - Galerie Arihis, Bruxelles (Belgium).
Since 2000 Constantin Tofan paintings have won several national and international awards.
